Our Story – Note From The Founder
Some people see coffee. I experience it.
As a blind person, I’ve always engaged with the world through sound, scent, taste, and texture. My connection with coffee began in childhood, when the aroma of a freshly brewed cup would stop me in my tracks. I remember walking through shopping malls, guided by the warm, earthy scent drifting from restaurants and cafés, it felt like possibility itself. Even then, coffee wasn’t just something to drink. It was something to feel.
Over the past 20 years, that early fascination has deepened into a passionate obsession. I’ve savoured espressos in the quiet of morning, shared velvety coffee milkshakes with close friends, and lingered over spoonfuls of tiramisu where the coffee notes rise and fall like music. Every texture, every taste, these moments anchor my experience of the world.
I started Coffee Sensations not to chase trends, but to honour these experiences and share them with others. This brand is my sensory journey, turned outward. Our beans are ethically sourced from across the globe and artisan-roasted in small batches in Cape Town, carefully developing each blend to bring out aroma, texture, and flavour in harmony.
